On Wednesday I went to eat dim sum lunch with Keun Hee, Andy and Louis to a restaurant in Kennedy Town. After lunch I went to buy my dream ballerina shoes I finally found here and spent a nice afternoon in the sun in the Hong Kong park reading a book. When the sun began to set I continued my shopping in Mong Kok for a while and also visited Sino Centre, a shopping mall for Asian pop-culture stuff. The centre was full of small stores like the Argyle Centre I mentioned before. Seems like the locals like to shop in these. I was trying to look for Japanese manga but only found Cantonese ones, so I bought one as it wasn't that expensive. My goal is to be able to read that someday.

| Sunny day in HK park |
On Friday our basketball team had a friendly match against a hall team from Chinese University of Hong Kong. The game was played at Sha Tin, New Territories, around 10am-noon. The day was sunny and hot and maybe half of the teams got sunburned. Not badly, but the skin was a little reddish. We won the game 110-45 or something, but as it was friendly match it was quite relaxed playing.
On Sunday I went to support my hallmates in the interhall athletics meet and we were the 1st runner up in the athletics female overall. And have to mention that in javelin there was a guy who threw over 60 meters (don't member the result exactly) and made a new HKU record.
