Kata in HK: LHT vs RC

First match, first victory! :)

We had the first interhall basketball game on Thursday 21st February against RC Lee Hall. The game ended 42-21, but even though we won, that wasn't a great match from our team as it took two quarters to get started. (After the first two quarters the game was even.)

I played almost the whole game (4x10mins running time), but scored only 4p. Lot to improve for the next game this Thursday!

I was actually quite nervous before this game. It has been a while since I have played in a real game and people expect a lot from me as I'm so tall. There were also people from the hall cheering for usand among them also some of my floormates. They had also left notes on our room's door the night before the match (see the picture below). Seems they like to leave different notes to each other's doors. :)

"Add oil" is a straight translation from "ga yau", which is a common cheering phrase in HK.

All team membres have their own jerseys with their name on it. As I joined the team after they had ordered their jerseys, mine had to be ordered separately and it is not ready yet. So, I'm borrowing Ujala's jersey for the this game and also for the next week's one. The shorts are two sizes larger and the shirt one size larger than what I ordered for myself, but better this way than too small ones. :D My own number will be 6 and, suprise suprise, the name will be Kata.
