The semester is
over… It ended yesterday and has flown by way too fast. What is left now is the
exam period. I have four courses as I mentioned before, but the Cantonese
course final exam was already on this Thu. So three more to go and they are on 14th,
20th and 22nd May. A nice schedule in my opinion.
I also bought the
flight tickets for my Hong Kong – Auckland – Brisbane – Singapore -trip. 40
days to go before the departure and 47 days before I enter the koala country! :)
As I mentioned the
Cantonese course ended on Thu so we had a hotpot dinner with a couple of classmates
at Angel’s (one of the classmates) hall. Well, Residential Colleges is not hall as our hall, but the buildings
are brand new and that’s where most of the international students are living.
Have to say that I like our hall 1000000x more. RC’s are new, shiny, but also a
bit office like and do not have so homey feeling. They also don’t have any hall
culture, they are further away from the campus, don't have a bus stop right next to them and Wellcome Superstore less than 10mins away.
Anyway a fun evening
with nice people. :)

This weekend is also "Let's celebrate Pui-Chi's birthday"-weekend. :) Pui-Chi is a fellow exchange student living in Lady Ho Tung Hall and is actually from Brisbane, Australia. For those who don't know, my boyfriend is currently in Brisbane as an exchange student. What a coincidence. :D
Yesterday we went to have a nice dinner with Pui-Chi, Keun Hee, Samantha (USA) and Brenda (Canada) in Tsim Sha Tsui and got drinks after that. I don't wonder why I don't drink drinks more often... they are expensive! But at the same time they are also good so once in a while it's totally ok and actually we only got one round as Pui-Chi had an presentation this morning. I will post some photos of the dinner later as I don't have those with me right now (using a school computer).
Today I had to wake up early to escape the pest control at our hall. No-one is allowed to be at the hall between 10am and 5pm. So now I'm supposed to study at the learning commons, but instead I'm trying to write blog posts that are still waiting to be written. Soon I'll go to our basketball team's Superpass Ball & Superpass Dinner and after that "Pui-Chi's birthday celebration number 2" party dinner at Mr. Wong's. Part 3 will be tomorrow when we'll go to Ocean Park. :)
