Many people used this period to travel around, but I used it for training, relaxing and shopping with my sister. That's right, my sister, Paulina, came here with her boyfriend for about one week (March 29th - April 7th). For me this meant getting more ryebread and also Finnish chocolate. Yay! :) I also got my old basketball shoes so I could sent my new indoor shoes back to Finland with my sister and just throw the old ones away when I leave. Less things to carry around when travelling after the exchange!
I have given most of the chocolates to my local friends and they loved especially Geishas. :) As for the alcohol, I promised some international friends I would get Salmiakki vodka for them to taste and the Minttu I'll take all the way to Australia. And as we got a toaster on our floor just before reading week, I have no words to describe how good did a toasted ryebread taste!

I also sent half of my clothes, inluding most of my hoodies, with them to Finland. Of course this week happened to be super cold (until yesterday), so I had to go to buy another HKU hoodie for myself. Good thing is that they are cheap, only 120hkd ~12e for one.
I'm two days late with this as yesterday and today have been nice days, but before that we didn't see a sun properly for like 2 or 3 weeks! It has been really cloudy, rainy and cold for a long time and what I've heard it's not usually like this in March-April... I was planning on going on many of HK's islands during the Easter, but couldn't do it because of the bad weather. So bad weather why did you come now? >_< Before reading week it was shorts+t-shirt weather and all...
I hasn't rained everyday and it hasn't been that awful everyday either, but somedays it just rains like hell. The picture below is the worst visibility I've seen here thus far, no other day comes even close to this. You can compare this with the picture in this post. (scroll to the end of the post)

And one interesting thing I want to mention. Asian people treat pizza as a "fine dining" food. I spoke about this with my Korean friends and also told them that in Finland it has the reputation of being a hangover food. :P
